Milliman Worksite Underwriting Milli-Byte Survey
Released in June 2022, Milliman developed this survey to help carriers determine market standards for delivering worksite products with various underwriting limitations and requirements. This report provides a summary of the survey responses from 38 carriers that offer voluntary worksite products to employer groups of 500 or fewer. In particular, the survey investigates current trends in underwriting for issue age and attained age-rated products, requirements for non-profits and government groups, participation requirements, factors for Guaranteed Issue (GI) offerings, and industry-specific offerings.
